Spontaneity and the call to nature are ingrained in my Enneagram 7 soul. Consider me someone who always looks for the spark in life, whether it be a calm afternoon foraging for tundra berries (yes, for delicious homemade scones) or cold-plunging into an alpine lake. These are the things that make me feel alive. I was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and have been a snowbird for as long as I can remember — spending my summers in the mountains and winters in warmer climates — chasing the best views and trails, be it powdery snow or rusty sand. Elopement photography has given me the same freedom I feel with the outdoors and travel, uninhibited and fueled by the restless search for unique experiences. If there’s ever a choice, I’ll always choose the most thrilling trip, shared with my people.
These days, I still live the snowbird lifestyle, with my home base in Arizona for the winter, soaking up the golden desert sun until I can return to Alaska for the summer. I hope you’re a dog person too, because Kesugi (my blue heeler named after the Alaskan mountain range) loves to accompany the occasional portrait session on the trails.
